Summer Housing Change Request
This form should only be completed by students who have already submitted a Summer Housing application or who already have a Summer Quarter housing contract, and who now need to change their application or contract. 

The deadline to change your summer contract length or to add or remove Summer-Autumn Interim Housing is Friday, July 31, 2009.  An administrative fee of $25 is assessed for every contract change.

Check all boxes that apply. Please read the Housing Assignments website to make sure that you are eligible for your requested change.
Students living in Single Undergraduate Housing are eligible for either the eight-week or the ten-week contract. Those who are also applying for housing for Autumn Quarter 2009 may opt for Summer-Autumn Interim Housing if they are requesting a ten-week summer contract. This will allow them to remain on campus continuously from the end of the ten-week summer contract through the start of their autumn housing. Note that only continuing Stanford students with an autumn assignment are eligible for Summer-Autumn Interim Housing. Summer residents will likely be required to move to a different room for the interim period prior to moving into their autumn assignments.

Students living in Single Graduate Housing, Couples without Children or Student with Children Housing are eligible for the eight-week contract. Only those students who are enrolled in a ten-week Stanford class or are enrolled as Terminal Graduate Registration (TGR) during the summer term may apply for the ten-week summer contract. Note that students assigned to Single Graduate, Couples without Children or Student with Children Housing for Summer 2009 and Autumn Quarter/Semester 2009 will automatically have their summer and autumn contract dates adjusted in order to provide continuous on-campus housing, regardless of their summer contract length selection. Billing is automatic.
 
I am a coterm student assigned to Single Graduate Housing for autumn and would like to have my summer assignment changed to match my autumn assignment. If you are able to reassign me, I accept the reassignment. The deadline for this request is June 8. (No Fee for this change)

Note: You will be notified of the decision on your request within ten business days by email from Housing Assignments. If you do not receive notification within ten business days, please contact Housing Assignments. 

Approved requests to add or remove interim housing will affect your summer and/or autumn bills, which will be due at the Office of Student Financial Services within 30 days of the change. Students may also need to move to another room or apartment within the residence or to a different residence in order to accommodate extensions.

A $25 administrative fee will be assessed for approved contract changes.
